Behind the DJs: Above and BeyondAbove and Beyond is a world renowned DJ group. Formed in England, DJs Tony McGuinness, Paavo Siljamaki, and Jono Grant have remixed songs for Madonna, Brittney Spears, and Dido. Alongside recording with famous artists, the group has released twelve albums of their own.From their humble university beginnings, when Jono and Paavo discovered their shared love of music, Above and Beyond have gone on to conquer the world. Over the course of eleven years, they have released such hits as “Far from in Love,” “Alone Tonight,” “Satellite,” and “On a Good Day.” However, the group’s big break was getting to work with Madonna. Starting with the superstar’s song “What It Feels Like For A Girl,” the group later worked on “Nobody Knows Me,” too. From there, the group was offered other remix opportunities; such as Dido’s “Sand in my Shoes” and “Everytime” by Brittney Spears.Above and Beyond has played their music all across the globe. One of the group’s biggest performances was to a crowd of 1 million fans. Located at Barra Beach, Rio de Janeiro, the group declares the concert to be one of their most awe-inspiring shows. Alongside the Barrah Beach performance, Above and Beyond has appeared in Ibiza, England, Indonesia, India, America, and more.Over the next few months Above and Beyond is currently touring the rest of the world; visiting locales like Bulgaria, Italy, London, Finland, Russia.
